The Mission Seventh-day Adventist Church Welcomes you! Thank you for visiting us here!

Our Church Family is here to share with you for any physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.

About Seventh-day Adventists

Adventists believe a Trinity of three persons--the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit--make up one God. They made salvation possible when Jesus, the Son, came to earth as a baby in Bethlehem and lived a sinless life in accordance with the Father's will. When Jesus was crucified for the sins of the people of the world and arose from the dead on the third day, victory was won for everyone.

As a Christian church, Seventh-day Adventists are a faith community rooted in the beliefs described by the Holy Scriptures. Adventists describe these beliefs in the following ways:

Fundamental Beliefs of the Seventh-day Adventist Church

Seventh-day Adventists accept the Bible as their only creed and hold certain fundamental beliefs to be the teaching of the Holy Scriptures. These beliefs, as set forth here, constitute the church's understanding and expression of the teaching of Scripture.

Our "Mission" Statement --- Seventh-day Adventists Worldwide

The Mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church is to communicate to all peoples the everlasting gospel of God's love in the context of the three Angels' messages of Revelation 14:6-12 and as revealed in the life, death, resurrection and high priestly ministry of Jesus Christ .... leading them to accept Jesus as personal Saviour and Lord and to unite with His remnant church and to nurture believers as disciples in preparation for His soon return.

From its early beginnings in Washington, New Hampshire in 1844, the Adventist movement is now known as one of the fastest growing churches in the world.

The Seventh-day Adventist Church is far more than numbers, organizational structure, and institutions.  The Adventist Church is people ... individual members who have caught a vision and who have chosen to live out that vision for Christ, as His Hands of Hope.  We, in Mission, British Columbia are part of a world family!

Five Things the World Needs to Know About Us

There are moments when you’re forced to step back and consider how your faith looks through another person’s eyes. Sitting before the glare of television lights, speaking with a journalist who has perhaps never had a conversation with a Seventh-day Adventist, is one of those moments. How do you encompass, in just a few sentences—a few soundbites—the depth and breadth of your faith, the tremendous meaning it has for you personally, the richness of its history, the power of its message, and the promise it holds for both individuals and for society?

Seventh-day Adventists accept the Bible as the only source of our beliefs. We consider our movement to be the result of the Protestant conviction Sola Scriptura -- the Bible as the only standard of faith and practice for Christians.

We believe that God Creates

From neurons to nebulae, DNA to distant galaxies, we are surrounded by wonder. Yet the beauty is broken.

We believe that God Redeems

Love. Harmony. Perfection. Once, all creation sang the same glorious song.

We believe that God Inhabits

Jesus left His followers with an epic mission: tell the world of His love and His promise to return. Also, they should love people the way He loved them.

We believe that God Transforms

God’s law in the Ten Commandments shows us how to live and make clear our need for Jesus. Though the law shows us the path to follow and convicts us of sin, it’s about far more than just toeing the line.

We believe that God Triumphs

From the Garden of Eden to the Tower of Babel, the destruction of Sodom to the Exodus from Egypt, God has always investigated before taking action.
